So I have decided to set myself an on going project illustrating my top 3 Lush products of the month. My first is this lovely body butter that goes by the name of 'King of Skin'. Its packed full of oats, fresh bananas and avocado to moisturise the skin with so it was only right to crown these beauties!

Earlier today I was searching for inspiration and stumbled across this wonderful delight that is arguably Maurice Sendak's best work! His iconic playful monster characters in 'Where The Wild Things Are' has always inspired me from a young age. The beautiful and enchanting illustrations accompanied by the story of adventure and imagination leaves a reminder of unconditional parental love and is one of my favourite illustrated books in children's literature.

I created this cheeky chappy last night for a campaign competition with Lush to encourage the charge of plastic bags but more importantly to STOP using them! He hasn't got a name yet but he doesn't like plastic bags and has eaten so many that he's gone green! He's trying to reduce his Monster footprint so spread the word and hashtag #burythemonster to join the online debate!

So here it is, my first post! I told myself that this year I needed to be more productive and document all of my illustrations, what really inspires me and gets me going! These particular illustration was taken from a self directed children's book called 'The Old Toby Jug'.
